After The Shams Group, Kam served as founder of Dallas Golden Investment Club, an investment alliance with 150 members; chairperson of Nizari Progressive Federal Credit Union; board member of Worldwide Education Fund, a philanthropy providing education and empowerment opportunities to underprivileged students in Tajikistan, Pakistan, and India; advisor to City of Coppell Economic Development Committee; and founder of Pamir Diamond Jubilee Social Impact Fund.
