Position: Creative Director
Shakeel has been obsessed with designing for the past couple of years, leading him to start a design and brand strategy consulting business. He feels blessed to serve the Jamat while doing something he loves. His goal this term, as the Creative Director, is to position IPN as a world-class brand by collaborating with and supporting all IPN programs.
Name: Sahil Maherali
Position: National Lead for Emerging Ismaili Professionals Team
Sahil has been on the National IPN team since November 2018 as the National College Lead for IPN. He currently serves as the National Lead for the Emerging Ismaili Professionals segment for IPN. After completing his undergrad from UTSA, Sahil went on to work in training at Dell. He currently works as an Onboarding Consultant at Cision in Austin, Texas. Sahil also serves on the National Project Team for Camp Mosaic and as a Regional Manager for Alpha Kappa Psi, a co-Ed professional business fraternity. Sahil loves spending his time watching Netflix, listening to podcasts (his favorite is “On Purpose” by Jay Shetty), and exploring local restaurants in Austin!
Name: Amber Virani
Position: Director of Marketing
Amber is passionate about the intersection of technology and marketing and the impact on the consumer. She currently works as Director of Digital Marketing & Analytics for Brain Balance Achievement Centers. With over 11 years of Integrated Marketing experience and a Masters in Digital Marketing, she can leverage her skills to bring a new perspective to build our capabilities.
Name: Ali Maredia
Position: Online Events Lead
Ali ensures that the IPN’s online events run smoothly and that speakers, participants, and organizers have the best experience possible. Ali hails from Michigan and currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts. Professionally he is a software engineer for Red Hat working on open source cloud storage software.
Name: Natasha Babvani
Position: Project Manager of Operations
Natasha is an Addiction Therapist at House of Charity, an advocate for battered women and children, and a sexual assault advocate. She provides holistic treatment for individuals who are facing mental health crisis by developing, conducting, and facilitating individual and group treatments. She believes that it’s imperative to leave this world a better place than when she first came into it. Therefore, she strives to make a positive difference in the world by serving her time and knowledge in communities that are poverty driven. When she is not working with clients, she enjoys volunteering her time to the community, spending time at the lake, and spending time with family and friends. She is currently the Project Manager of Operations for the IPN and will be the bridge that connects the 11 alliances.
Name: Shehzad Bharwani
Position: National Content Strategy Lead
Shehzad Bharwani is the National Content Strategy Lead for the IPN. Professionally, he is the Founder and CEO of Dealytics and Co-Founder of FinTech Austin. He graduated with highest honors from Emory University with a degree in Economics and Mathematics and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He is also a fitness enthusiast who loves to travel and explore coffee shops.
Name: Zoha Momin
Position: Head of Strategic Initiatives
Zoha and her team focus on leveraging IPN’s expertise and knowledge to support key initiatives with Jamati institutions and external organizations nationally and globally. Their work ranges from The Ismaili Connection Podcast, Civic Engagement, International IPN Chapters, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives, Design and Innovation Lab, and much more! Zoha also has a diverse set of experiences within the automotive industry working in supply chain, vehicle development, and mobility product and service design for the past 5 years. Her experience with human-centered design is in diverse segments ranging from healthcare, sanitation, education, employment, mobility, and nutrition. Adding to her education in economic development and experience in international development, she is currently pursuing her passion for Social Impact initiatives. In her free time, she loves to ski, practice yoga, read fiction books, and watch Michigan football (GO BLUE).
Name: Mehrab Momin
Position: Technology and IPNonline Lead
Mehrab is a technology entrepreneur with a combination of both strong product and engineering background. In the last two decades, he has built, lead, and managed local and remote engineering and product teams. He has a deep background in systems architecture design, real-time streaming data, process automation, and web applications. In his role as technology lead for IPN, he has helped create the new IPNOnline platform.
