IPN West – SF Networking Event & Diversity in the Workplace Panel
Did you know that women make up just 15% of Uber’s tech workforce per TechCrunch? Similarly, at Amazon, Apple and Google only 31% of their leadership is Asian, African American or Latino as reported by Recode? This under-representation at work compared to the population in the U.S. has startling effects on our lives. According to McKinsey & Company, companies in the top quartile of racial diversity are 35% more likely to have higher financial returns!
