IPN Student Spotlight: Sara Panjwani, Senior at the University of Texas, Austin
Sara is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, but has spent the last four years at The University of Texas at Austin. Sara is currently pursuing a BBA in Marketing and a minor in Arts Management and Administration. Sara was recently named a Forbes 30 Under 30 Scholar during 2019!
In the summer of 2019, Sara had the opportunity to intern at Frito-Lay, PepsiCo in the Dallas Fort-Worth area. During her internship, she served on the Front End Innovations (FEI) Team as a Marketing Intern. Being on the FEI Team, she had the opportunity to see how billion dollar brands are created from ideation to consumer testing, all the way to commercialization. Specifically, she worked on evaluating a new potential product that would be a disruptive innovation for the Frito-Lay portfolio. She created a market share analysis, identified long term growth potential and ran a series of concept tests with consumer research agencies to present a final recommendation on whether or not the company should invest resources in this product.
Prior to her Internship at Frito-Lay, Sara spent the summer of 2018 interning at Anheuser-Busch working in their Innovation Department in St. Louis and New York. Congratulations Sara on all your accomplishments!
