Amal Merali is the Director of Store Design at Sephora. She has 18+ yrs experience in store concepts, branding, interior design, international business and portfolio management. Prior to Sephora, Amal played a number of roles globally with brand design, concept creation, and development with major brands including Starbucks, Calvin Klein, and The Body Shop.

Most recently, Amal joined the UN-Habitat Lebanon as Interim Head of Urban Planning and Design to recommend a multi-sectoral intervention that focuses on improving living conditions through developing a stabilised community, upgrading basic urban services and housing, and strengthening of sustainable governance. Amal speaks 4 languages and has worked in 5 different countries.
