Lead, Women and Web Literacy
Amira Dhalla works on issues related to digital rights, inclusion, and engagement with global organizations and communities. She is currently completing her MPA at Columbia University. She has spent the past six years working at Mozilla Foundation as the Head of Global Participation where she focused on creating an accessible, safe, open and innovate web for people around the world. While at Mozilla she developed digital education programs in over 100 countries, launched the organizations first ever gender division and collaborated on programs with UN Women, Ford Foundation, World Economic Forum and others. She is passionate about protecting the web, creating change for social good, developing inclusive learning spaces and female empowerment.
