Climate Finance Trade Commissioner, The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service

Faheem Noor Ali is one of four global Climate Finance Trade Commissioners and is based out of Washington DC. He works closely with decision makers and projects managers at multi-lateral development banks, such as the World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank, and with a number of climate finance partners in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Prior to joining the Trade Commissioner Service, Faheem worked at the World Bank and IFC on Access to Finance and Entrepreneurship projects focused on climate business and innovation. He also led an agribusiness incubator in Tanzania and co-founded and sold a food tech start up in the Washington, D.C. area.

Faheem holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University and a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University).
