Nageeb Sumar oversees the foundation’s work on policy, systems, and innovation in philanthropy.

Nageeb joined the foundation in November 2009. Prior to the Philanthropic Partnerships Team, Nageeb served as a senior program officer on the Donor Government Relations team, where he led and oversaw the foundation’s engagement with Canada, Australia, Japan, and Korea.

Nageeb holds law degrees from McGill Law School, a master’s degree in international finance from Queen’s University School of Business, and bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Urban & Regional Planning from Cornell University.
