Omar Samji is a Mergers & Acquisitions partner at Shearman & Sterling LLP and a member of the firm’s Energy Industry Group. He focuses on acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and other business transactions, and has completed more than $28 billion of energy resource, infrastructure, and technology transactions.

Omar serves on the Advisory Board of the Institute for Energy Law and is a past member of the Advisory Board of the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas and Energy Law and the Executive Leadership Committee of the Leukemia, and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk Houston. He is the Hiring Partner for the firm’s Houston office.
