Samir Rayani co-founded Next Big Sound, an analytics and insights service for the music industry, during his junior year of college. He and his co-founders went through the Techstars Boulder program in 2009 and have since created and sold software to thousands of customers, licensed industry-defining charts, raised two rounds of venture capital, and built a world-class team of 20+ designers, engineers, and scientists. On July 1, 2015, Next Big Sound was acquired by Pandora. Today, the Next Big Sound team operates autonomously and continues to ensure that every artist can succeed in the modern music industry. Rayani holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from Northwestern University and graduated in 2009.
