Dr. Ajani is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and part of the pulmonary, transplant, and critical care teams at Emory University. In her dual role as a pulmonologist and intensivist, Dr. Ajani is involved in the care of patients with advanced lung diseases, focusing on the care of individuals before and after lung transplant, as well as that of patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU).

She has a keen interest in technology in healthcare and also provides care via the Emory telemedicine/electronic ICU (eICU) system. As a member of the faculty, she is involved with teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Her research interests are focused on lung transplant outcomes and critical care medicine.
