Shanif Dhanani is currently the co-founder and CEO of Apteo, a startup that is building AI-powered research tools for informed investors. Shanif is also an active investor in the equities, options, real estate, startup, peer-to-peer, and cryptocurrency markets, with diversified assets across each. Prior to starting Apteo, Shanif helped start TapCommerce, an adtech company where he was originally the lead engineer, and later the head of data and analytics, which was subsequently sold to Twitter, where Shanif worked for three years as an engineer and data scientist. Shanif is originally from the DC area and currently lives in Manhattan.
