What is IPN BootCamp?
The purpose of each IPN BootCamp is to educate Ismaili Professionals (IPs) on all key aspects of starting a professional venture. This event will provide aspiring entrepreneurs with tools and knowledge to help transform ideas into reality through the process of collaboration, coaching and pitching.
Who is IPN BootCamp for?
IPN BootCamp is for those aspiring Ismaili Professionals who have an interest in starting their own professional ventures. Teams will be formed and paired with coaches by early September so teams can work together on an educational module that takes the teams step-by-step in developing their idea into a pitch presentation.
Does my team need to consist of only Ismaili Professionals?
While IPN BootCamp is for aspiring Ismaili Professionals, it is also open and welcome to aspiring non-Ismaili professionals. Non-Ismaili Professionals can be on a team as long as there is one Ismaili professional on that team.
Do I need to come in with an idea already in mind?
No, as part of the BootCamp, you will work with your team to generate an idea prior to the event, through team meetings, conference calls, etc.
When will IPN BootCamp take place?
The IPN BootCamp will be held Saturday and Sunday, September 24th and 25th in New Jersey, exact location is being finalized. Interested Professionals will be informed in the coming weeks.
How do I apply and when is the deadline?
You can apply through the IPN Jamat Khana Representative, Council Corner or register via ipnonline.net/ipnbootcamp. Please feel free to reach out with questions or concerns via [email protected]. Deadline to register is Saturday, September 3rd.
How many spots are available?
The total number of teams ranges from eight to twelve teams. Each team will range from 2-4 members.

What is the cost of attending IPN BootCamp?
There’s no cost to apply, however there is a cost for applicants who wish to participant. Early Bird registration is $99 until Sunday, August 28th, regular registration after that is $115; registration ends Saturday, September 3rd. Full payment will be required to confirm attendance. This cost covers meals. This cost does not include any travel costs such as airfare and hotel.
What will IPN BootCamp event entail?
The IPN BootCamp will feature speakers, panelists and workshops. This educational program will be structured as a startup pitch competition. Prior to the weekend, teams will work together to complete the ideation phase. Once at the actual event, teams will get to listen to experienced speakers and panelists, ask questions, network with Ismaili Professionals from the Northeast region and have the opportunity to polish the pitch deck with the assistance of a coach. Teams will get the chance to pitch their presentations to a panel of judges on Sunday, September 25th.
